Writer Profiles

IMELDA CRUZ WOOD is an Economics degree holder who’s also interested in writing. She worked as writer and editor before migrating to New Zealand. Her husband David brought her to New Zealand and gave her a new life. She managed to adjust to a different culture and a different life in a foreign land and came to love it no matter how hard. Her interest in writing never left, so she became a columnist for two Philippines’ magazines while doing manual work in her host country. However, on her 10th year in New Zealand (2014), she faced one life’s trial that caused her memory to get lost. Ardent prayers from family and friends complemented by strong faith in God brought her to a quick recovery. Knowing that her writing ability was God given, she now wants to use it to share her blessings by joining the Christian Writers’ group.
