    SANDRA KING, born and raised in small-town New Zealand, recalls being inspired by a movie she saw as a twelve-year-old girl called The Inn of the Sixth Happiness. Only later in life, when in her forties and about to take a leap of faith in leaving her comfortable, predictable future, does this movie come back to mind. Over six hundred babies and children would come to know Sandra – and the Lord. The children have always been her heart. They are China’s heart. Sandra has written a three-part series of her life’s calling, her mission, and the blessings of her thirty-year journey to the heart of China.

      The Call To China

      THE CALL TO CHINA. Sandra leaves her grown family and heads to China. Exactly why isn’t obvious to her at this stage, but there is no doubt in her faith–she needed to go.
