// WriterDIANE TAYLOR was born in England and emigrated to New Zealand with her husband in 1970 She worked as a Social Worker and Probation Officer. She undertook university study and gained a Bachelor of Theology and two post-graduate diplomas (one in Professional Ethics and one in Theology) before completing a M. Phil. In History. The thesis for her master’s degree provided the basis for her first book which described the life and posthumous influence of the first Catholic bishop of New Zealand, Bishop Pompallier. Subsequently she published two further books – the first concerned her parish priest, Fr. Denzil Meuli, titled “An Extraordinary Priest” and the second on the problems with harmful education, entitled “What Are You Teaching My Child And BY Whose Mandate?”. She is currently completing a book on Mother Aubert, whose process for canonization is under way. A chapter of this book has been published in an international magazine “Gregorius Magnus”.
