DENESE SHEREE. Born in West Auckland 1963, Denese Sheree moved to Papamoa Beach at 7 years old. She had an experience of the revelation of Jesus in a difficult situation, and has walked with Him ever since. Living fairly remotely from that time she learnt to live in a very self sufficient way. At 40 years old, Denese had 2 children, so the food production had to greatly increase. She was asked by many to write of her experiences and knowledge, so A Change Of Season: Growing Food To Survive was written. Planting, storing food, seed saving, preservation and developing good soil are all in this valuable resource. Each of Denese’s books are $35 + P&P. Buy directly from Denese’s Facebook page.

Cooking With Fire

COOKING WITH FIRE: Cooking Food To Survive. Warmth is a basic human need, as is being able to cook food. Both are skills to survive. The knowledge surrounding wood and firewood, fires, camp cooking, trees, and getting the best from each of these is endless. I can share what I know and some knowledge from old fellas I have known. To this, I have added information about specific trees I have researched. So much rich heritage has been lost with mill workers, timber workers, steam kiln men, builders of years ago, bush men, and so many early settlers. I hope to preserve at least a few wee gems for your family library. $35 + P&P. Buy directly from Denese’s Facebook page.
