About This Book
THE GOOD LIFE: Four Seasons in my Country Garden. When Sarah and her young family moved from an urban metropolis to the rural backblocks, the first thing she did was to build a large garden. Being self-sufficient soon became a family affair. The Good Life is a funny and inspiring slice-of-life gardening book, looking at the ups and downs of gardening throughout the year. The book is full of practical gardening advice, as well as delicious recipes, interwoven with the story of Sarah′s transformation from city-slicker to country girl. The journey has not been without its bumps, but there was also a whole lot of fun and laughter along the way.
