Writer Profiles

CHRISTINE PLATT was born in England. She did missionary work in West Africa for many years where she developed her writing skills. She wrote Bible studies and discipleship booklets in French. On returning to Wales she continued her nursing career and also wrote numerous articles to promote spiritual growth as well as exploring some social issues. She came to New Zealand in 2001 and worked as a Plunket Nurse. Over the years she has written several ‘Cover to Cover’ Bible study books and devotional notes for CWR – ‘Inspiring Women Every Day’, and BRF ‘Day by Day with God’. She worships at Whangaparaoa Baptist Church and volunteers on the Welcome Team, the Food Bank and teaches English to Asian migrants.
