Writer Profiles

RICHARD YARRALL. After 43 years of missionary work in Colombia, South America, and Los Angeles, USA, working among Spanish speaking people, Richard and his wife, Nancye, returned to New Zealand in November 2013 making Tauranga their home base. Richard’s main missionary focus was preaching the Gospel, Bible teaching, church planting and pastoral care. In Los Angeles, he had a weekly radio programme on a local station reaching out to Spanish speakers. An annual highlight was bringing young people to Los Angeles for a short-term mission to be exposed to Latinos and their culture. With a wealth of adventures in Latin America, Richard has spent the last four years writing his memoirs that have now been published in the book, From Poverty Bay To Riches Untold.
